The Miss Teen Iraq 2010 was set to take place on August 9th in Colombo- Sri Lanka, but due to lack of sponsorship, Talat Model Management decided to handpick a winner, and the new titleholder is 17 year old Valeriya Mazin Shimon, who is about to start grade 12 this fall, she stands at 179m and will move to Dubai where she will share an apartment with current Miss Iraq, Olga Kojaman. The new Teen Queen will spend the year traveling the Middle East, Asia and Europe where she will deliver speeches and raise awareness on violence against women.
